The Last Unicorn DVD, and supporting Peter S. Beagle

As many of you may know, the widescreen edition of "The Last Unicorn" is finally being released on DVD next month (February). What you may not know is that Peter S. Beagle, the author of the book upon which the movie is based is in a dispute with the production company over their refusal to pay him any of the royalties owed to him. Therefore, any purchase of these DVDs doesn't benefit Beagle in any way.

However, there is a way around this. Beagle has been granted the right to sell the DVDs as a merchant, and thereby gain some benefit (50% of the proceeds) from the sales through the Conlan Press site. You can read more here:
